Purpose
Multi-purpose optimization
COLMINA Sequence Planning Optimization uses Fujitsu’s latest algorithms, that automatically compute production sequence planning and optimize production KPIs for multiple purposes.
It optimizes combinations of the order of products introduction processes including production lead standardization, cost, number of changeovers/time and percentage of on time delivery. Moreover, it simultaneously considers the constraints of capacity, inventory, tooling and skills to generate an optimized production plan. It also controls the order of products introduction processes during initial planning, improvement and rescheduling.



COLMINA Sequence Planning Optimization allows to compare multiple production plans to find the best solution that balances inventory requirements with actual planned operations. It takes into consideration “what if” scenarios, based on production scheduling forecasts, to identify and solve bottlenecks and capacity constrains
